I remember growing up on Long Island, place was very inundated with king kullen, Waldbaums and A&P stores

Hills was known for a short period of time as “The Hills”. Seem to remember an ad come to The Hills nearest you” They were purchased by Pueblo International in mid 70’s. Haven’t been here in a long time; second year in college myself now. I’m surprised no one mentioned King kullen being bought by stop n shop here. I remember east patchogue, Medford and patchogue (all three) as a kid

God only knows how patchogue pathmark and selden waldbuams survived.
Patchogue store is such a sad scene, it's like they didn't take care of the building in the last five years.
