unknown on the Thrifty ice cream.. but it would taste better than cold stone. Their product reeks of flavoring chemicals.

The old K-mart on Auburn Blvd in Citrus Heights / Sacramento became a storage place, including the parking lot !

A) Yes, same place.

B) If you take the Mack Rd. East exit off SB 99, it's right there as you go thru the clover leaf.

Yes, the one in Reno did go by the name of Auto Depot. At the time the Corporate clowns were trying to come up with a non membership version of their own store. It didn't make much sense to me then or now for that matter. If you charge a membership fee, that money goes strait to your profit margin, ...

Auto Parts Club

Who remembers the Auto Parts Club chain ? They were part of that big "club store" craze that was in the late 80's thru the late 90's ( Home Club, Pace, Price Club) I worked at the Oakland Ca. store from pre opening ( July 91 ) until they closed it due to horrendous shrinkage in October 95....

The second one, is that where Safeway/Longs is now at Arden/Watt?
I think that was a closed up pack n save before it was remodeled into a safeway... it was yellow and black inside. The whole center was abandoned then remodeled.
