(Apologies for the odd source, but there doesn't seem to be any way to link directly to the press release on Taco Bell)

Obituary from the L.A. Times. I'd love to see the late-'60s ads referred to: "defining and picturing the menu items, listing ingredients and explaining how to pronounce them."

Obit from San Bernardino Sun states:

Around 1960, Bell, Baker and the McDonald brothers would eat breakfast at Sage's Complete Market in San Bernardino, where Brown was an assistant manager.

Baker, of Baker's (local fast food chain) and THE McDonald brothers.

Brown leads local grocery chain Stater Bros.
