When I was up in Vancouver earlier this year, I seem to recall passing by at least one Marina Safeway that was still a Safeway (and looked like a fairly well-preserved Marina from the outside as well.) Do you happen to know which one that was? I did a little bit of looking around at Google Street View but couldn't find it again.

Was it the Granville Safeway?

Yes, that would be the one. I wasn't aware that it had been granted historic landmark status.

I found another reverse gull-wing Safeway in Calgary at the corner of
4th St SW and 14th ave SW here is a picture it is now a sony style store
