The shopping center was remodeled twice but retained the original A&P structure which was duplicated for a smaller store within the center.

The A&P portion is divided. Half contains longtime business LIPSON FABRICS.

Most of shopping center is dead and has been for decades. There is a Post Office and several State of Georgia agencies have offices in the shopping center. For 20 years, there was a public library in the center. It moved to a newer shopping center 3 miles away.

Just wanted to mention that the shopping center that includes the old A&P I posted photos of in Macon Georgia has changed its name to RIVERCHASE CORNERS. And the shopping center's leasing management company is agressively trying to lure new tenants.
