Gibson Shopping Center, built in 1970 in Diamond Bar CA

I'd like to know the history of the Gibson Shopping Center on Diamond Bar Boulevard at the 60 Freeway. It was built under this name in 1970 with two anchor stores. The oldest building now houses Savon Drugs/CVS Pharmacy. The other current anchor is VONS.
Across the street is another shopping center probably built around the same time. K-mart has been there for many many years. What's the story on that place?
