Administration Requests (Topic Merges, Deletions, etc.)

Hi all,
Just a little request: if you'd like to request a administrative change on the board (e.g. to have a topic merged or split, a subject changed, or something otherwise altered or corrected that you can't do yourself), please DO NOT POST YOUR REQUEST IN THE FORUM ITSELF. Instead, please send a PRIVATE MESSAGE to me or to runchadrun.
By this, I'm not talking about things like including links to related posts, which is OK, but things like "Can we merge this topic?" or "Can someone remove this off-topic pots?". Repeated requests for changes of this sort cause a lot of clutter and disruption in the forum, and this is exactly the sort of thing that the private message system is there for in the first place. The forum should really only contain posts and the occasional advisory from the moderators that something has been changed.
