Interesting article in today's

As is usually true, the owner of the rela estate is espousing the "party line" of "We'd like to get another grocery store in here". In this case, you have a pretty good location, pretty good to excellent neighborhood demographics, and, in my opinion, not a chance that you'll see another grocery store in there. Way too much competition nearby, including long-established high-end "gourmet" stores (including Joe's Market, which is owned by Ukrop's) as well as the usual chains.
