Bashford Manor Mall, Louisville

While I was in Kentucky this summer, I spotted on US 31E a very blighted former shopping mall, Bashford Manor.
Half of it was now a Wal-Mart; the other half stood there, vacant, with an empty parking lot surrounding it. My best friend (a Louisville native who used to live in the Okolona area) and his family all told me that this place had declined over the years, as the area became substantially more downscale.
