Also in the suburban Boston area: The Billerica Mall (Billerica, MA) and the Middlesex Mall (Woburn, MA) both opened in the late 1970s (approx.) with attached DeMoulas/Market Basket stores with exterior entrances. Both still exist.

The Burlington Mall (Burlington, MA) originally opened in the late 1960s with a Stop & Shop. It eventually disappeared and the space was filled, but never by another grocery store.
