many independents such as super duper markets & others carried "red&white" but that brand also had a few sub branded items as well.
other labels included "sun spun", "our value brand" ,& "del haven"

there were Super Dupers in central ,Ma. (ware,Ma. ) circa mid 1960`s. Trifilo`s Super Markets took them over, then after they sold out, most became IGA`s.

does anyone remember the Trifilo`s bros. 5 store chain in central mass? the stores were named "trifty Super" and had locations in Barre (now Barre Shurfine), Greenfield(now Foster`s),Athol,Gardner,and Ware. the ware store had originally opened mid 1960`s as a Super Duper.

there was also a mini chain in western mass called "food basket" which had a handful of supermarkets and about 15 or so mini food baskets.they lasted until the mid 1980`s.
