Anyone have any more info (i.e. addresses, photographs, more history) about the former Safeway Houston division?Apple Tree (Houston, Dallas & Austin, Texas) The former Safeway, Inc. stores in Texas. The former Safeway employees bought out the assets of Safeway and formed Apple Tree. There was one Apple Tree store still left in Bryan, Tx as of 2003.
