This building is currently the independent Rego's Market, but what was it originally? Kroger? The interior has a very nice gray terazzo floor, and has recently been redone with recycled wall fixtures from an old Tops store. (Rego's bought the old Tops in Westlake, so I am making the assumption that the old wall lettering and such was moved here when they remodeled that store)
I can't recall the cross street on this, but it's just inside Cleveland near Lakewood.

As far back as I can remember, this store was Rego's Stop-n-Shop. I believe this was Rego's first store, so maybe it was built as a Rego's. BTW, I have shopped a few times at the Rego's in Kamm's plaza and it gives you a comfortable feeling like you are in the old Stop-n-Shop.

It is the original Rego's: http://www.sunnews.com/news/2007/part1/0125/WTOPS.htm
and would go back to 1947. The store appears to be in Lakewood (it's W of W 117th in the 13600 block of Lakewood Heights Blvd.)

Oops, it's on the Cleveland side of the street.

Ah, so it's always been a Rego's. It's a nice little store, and I am curious what it looked like before it was remodeled. (Yes, it's just barely within the Cleveland boundaries)

Rego's closed this store in the early 1980's, then Medic Drug operated there for many years. When Medic folded, they closed this location, and Rego reopened there.
