Temple City Ranch Market (Temple City, CA)
Even though I've lived in the area for about 20 years, I never noticed this market until one day when I took a different route home from work. It definitely looks like it was built as a market, maybe in the 50s? Any idea what its history is? It's located at 4819 Temple City Blvd., right on the corner of Lower Azusa Rd.

Here's a Live Local overhead view, with 1950s-style bubble roof visible...

The store at 4819 Temple City Blvd was a Walker's Market, which was bought by McDaniel's Markets in 1957. That store closed sometime between 1957 and 1960. More info on my post about McDaniel's at http://www.groceteria.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=1159
