Wish I’d been there. Wow. Air conditioning, free parking, and extended hours. What convenience.

    Funny to find this post now, because that Safeway actually closed down yesterday for a reconstruction. They’re demolishing the whole thing, and the property will be redeveloped as a multistory complex, probably with housing on the upper levels. There will be a new Safeway at street level.
