This is a list of all chain grocery locations my research has uncovered in selected northern and eastern Pittsburgh suburbs between 1930 and 1975, compiled from city directories, telephone books, and other sources. There may be some omissions due to incomplete or missing data, etc. and I welcome suggestions and corrections.

Notes
- I suspect there may be missing locations, particularly prior to 1940. City directories did not cover these areas and newspaper ads of the time usually did not include store addresses. This is as complete as I can make it right now.
