This is a list of all chain grocery locations my research has uncovered in the Pocatello area between 1925 and 2025, compiled from city directories, telephone books, and other sources. There may be some omissions due to incomplete or missing data, etc. and I welcome suggestions and corrections.

Notes
- Approximately 30 miles west of Pocatello is American Falls, Idaho. In 1915, Marion B. Skaggs opened the first of his stores, one of two chains that were merged to form the modern Safeway chain in 1926. The town of American Falls was relocated in the mid-1920s and the site of that store is now underwater.
