Notes
- Established as a co-operative chain in Montréal in 1947, under the name Magasins Lasalle.
- Name changed to Metro-Lasalle in the early 1960s.
- Merged with the Richelieu cooperative chain in 1976 to form Metro-Richelieu.
- Grew through acquisitions in the 1980s-2000s (notably many stores from Steinberg, Loeb, and A&P Canada) to become one of the largest chains in Québec and Ontario.
