Wow! Another supermarket chain used the parabolic roof for their stores? I grew up in Milwaukee, WI and the Kohl’s Food Stores were distinguished by this design.

I believe I saw a store of a similar design in the suburbs of Montreal. I went with my grandmother when I was young. Not sure if it was a Metro, though it could have been. I believe Metro was headquartered in Montreal.
This wasn’t actually built as a Metro. It started as a Grand Union, then was a Steinberg’s, a Dominion, and most recently a Metro.
